Responsible in assisting
in running and organizing the operations of the restaurant under the guidance
of the Director of Food & Beverage / Assistant Food and Beverage Manager
should be involved in the following function: working hand-in-hand with
the Director of Food & Beverage / Assistant Food and
Beverage manager in planning, costing, delegation, evaluation, organizing,
cost control, interviewing, selection, discipline, setting target, counselling,
standards, appraisals, training, human relation, communication and
coordination. Responsible for the smooth operation and production of goods and
services under his/her control and the resources available to him/her. Keeping
a constant eye on the standard of the ingredients, the meals, the restaurant
environment and the service.
Assist the Director of Food & Beverage / AssistantFood and Beverage Manager in implementing high service standards asper hotel procedure.
Represents the Restaurant in the daily F&B meetingsand in other meeting where his / her presence in required.
Maintains employees’ attendance records, changes ofstatus and evaluates his / her staff periodically
Schedules staff duties according to forecast andspecial arrangements
Hold daily briefings to discuss various aspects ofservice, sources of complaints and transmits information that has beenbrought to F&B meetings.
Ensures high standards of sanitation and hygiene
Promotes up selling at all levels and by personalefforts through guests contacts
Handling and advises the division of all guests’comments and complaints
Ensures that the operating equipment and generalsupplies for the restaurant are maintain at the establish par stocks andinitiates requisitions for additional supplies if necessary
Ensures tight control on all food and beverage stocksas per hotel standards
Maintains a written record of regular and VIP customerprofiles, ensuring that their likes and dislikes are passed on to otherconcerned parties where necessary
Assure that all members within the team are correctlygroomed according to hotel standards
Performs are other duty as required by superior
Is confident in answering the phone according to agreedstandards, being fully aware of booking procedures, including parties andarrangements
Delegates duties when necessary
Co-operate with the company to achieve compliance withFLS legislation
Take moral and legal responsibility for conductingthemselves in their work so they do not expose themselves or others torisk
Read, understand, and implement the relevant sectionsof the FLS Policy
To keep the highest
standard of service established for the dining area. Assist the
restaurant manager in managing the operation of the restaurant in a smooth and
effective way through the resources available to you.
QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS
Hotel Management background/ HM degree holder/similar qualification.
Minimum 1 - 2 years restaurant experience in a Japanese restaurant / All Day Dining / Persian restaurant / hotel experience / guest service oriented
Ability to communicate with the guests and anticipate their needs when it comes to serving them.
Well-groomed, neat and tidy at all times when dealing with guests directly.
Maintain the Standard, Quality of Service during the tenure with the hotel.
Responsible, Accountability, should have integrity while dealing with the operations of the outlet / Dedicated, Attain a Sense of Ownership towards serving guests and giving a great experience to the guests coming to the hotel.
