The Prepositioning and Marine Corps Logistics Services (P&MCLS) program is based in Jacksonville, Florida. We provide maintenance and logistics services to the U.S. Marine Corps (USMC) and U.S. Navy.

We are seeking a Organic Supply Supervisor for our Kuwait location.

Job Summary and Responsibilities

This position supports the Marine Expeditionary Unit Augmentation Program – Kuwait (MAP-K). Responsiblefor the receipting, accounting, storage, issue, and disposal of government property and material.Be assigned as the Tool Room account Responsible Officer. Oversee and supervise the SL-3 inventories on all sets, kits, outfits and chests in support of the Preventative Maintenance Checks and Services schedule for both the Equipment Listing and Organics for MAP-K. Review and manage property book section to ensure changes are occurring timely and accurately. Supervise the Supply Technician, Warehouse workers, Inventory Technicians and Tool Room Attendants to ensure chain of custody is being followed and supporting documentation is complete, accurate, and filed appropriately to substantiate changes. Review and manage warehouse/distribution operations. Check receiving area and ensure commodity managers receipt for and pick up material. As required ensure Defense Logistics Agency Disposition Services (DDS) appointments are made and executed. Collect materiel for rollback and disposal, work directly with Deployed Supply Support (DSS) Supervisor for government directed disposition. Schedule disposition as provided by the government representative and the DSS Supervisor. Schedule and prepare for the unit’s GFE annual inventory. Annual inventories must coincide with a CMR reporting period and be conducted at least once per fiscal year. Ensure filing is occurring accurately, timely and according to the prescribed methods. Assigned as theContainer Control Officer to report the location, condition and inspection dates of all military containers in the custody of the MAP-K geographical location code MEUA. Provide support to the Operations Manager withShipping and Movement of Principle End Items in Kuwait. Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

  • BS degree in business or other related field.

  • In lieu of a degree, a combination of college credits, other formalized training or education, and directly related work experience may be considered.

  • 8 (Eight) years of equivalent experience.

  • US Citizen. Proof required.

  • Must possess or be able to obtain a U.S. Passport.

  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a secret security clearance.

  • Valid state Motor Vehicle Operator License.

  • Applicants must be able to obtain a finding of ‘NO RECORD’ on the FBI Police Record Investigation.

  • In addition to meeting KBRwyle employment requirements, the United States Marine Corps has minimal standards of fitness for deployment. Your continued employment is contingent upon your being approved for deployment by the United States Marine Corps, in accordance with their policies and regulations.

  • Ability to obtain and maintain Military Base Access.

  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Common Access Card.

Additional Qualifications:

  • In-depth understanding of Marine Corps policies, regulations and orders.

  • Working knowledge of military storage procedures.

  • Demonstrated knowledge and experience with Global Combat Support System – Marine Corps (GCSS-MC).

  • Ability to use standard commercial word processing, database, spreadsheet, and statistical software applications.

  • Strong written and oral communication skills.

  • Ability to comply with all established methods, quality standards, and time schedules applicable to this position.

Additional Information:

  • Must be willing and able to travel (military airlift) and work in other countries in the region of the Middle East.

  • Most work will be performed in extreme temperatures, employees must be willing and able to work under these conditions as determined by a required physical examination.
